适当的,正合要求的[(+for)]
The park is a likely place for the picnic.
这公园倒是个适合野餐的地方。
likely的用法；
It is likely that...=sb is likely to...
It is likely that...=sb is likely to... 很可能
sth/sb is likely to do
I”m hardly likely to finish it within a week.
我不可能在一周内把它干完。
It is very likely that he will not agree.
他很可能不同意。

是错误用法这个词组是it is 形容词（adj） for sb. to dosthis是系动词后面应该加形容词。一楼的那个回答是sth is likely for ，又不是sb is likely for .我查了好多资料都没有这个用法，网上搜也没有啊。为了保险起见，放弃这个用法吧
