A Trip to the Farm。
Last weekend, my family and I went on a trip to a farm. It was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and a warm sun shining down on us. We were all excited to see what the farm had in store for us.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the farmer who showed us around the farm. We saw fields of wheat, corn, and sunflowers. We also saw cows, pigs, and chickens. My younger brother was thrilled to see the animals up close and even got to pet a few of them.
The farmer then took us to the vegetable garden where we got to pick our own vegetables. We picked tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot about how vegetables grow.
After picking our vegetables, we went to the barn where
we saw the cows being milked. We even got to try some of the fresh milk. It was delicious!
Next, we went on a hayride around the farm. We sat on a wagon filled with hay and were pulled by a tractor. It was bumpy and dusty, but we loved it. We saw more of the farm and even got to see a pond where we saw some fish swimming around.
Finally, we went to the farm store where we bought some of the farm's fresh produce. We also bought some homemade jam and honey. We thanked the farmer for the wonderful tour and headed back home.
Overall, it was a great day at the farm. We learned a lot about farming and got to experience it firsthand. It was a nice break from the city and we all enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine. We can't wait to go back again!
